THE PARIS 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES LEGACY PLAN

As part of the cultural measures of the State Heritage Plan for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, one of them has a European dimension and is part of the vision of the European Institute of Cultural Routes. This measure is supported by three French ministries: the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Sports and the Olympic Games, and the Ministry of Tourism.

This measure consists of developing a Cultural Itinerary of Sports Heritage (tangible and intangible).

CREATION OF ASSOCIATION

It was in March 2021 that the Association was created to carry out this project and submit the “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” application.

THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL

10 Experts from 10 countries in the field of research and development who guarantee the coherence of the project and actions

ECROS DESIGNATION

"European Cultural Route of Sport" and in English "European Cultural Route of Sport" (the acronym ECROS having been chosen as the name of the association) on the proposal of the Scientific Council and after an exchange with the International Olympic Committee
