THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL
ITS PRESIDENT
Its presidency was entrusted to Professor Thierry Terret, former president of the International Society for the History of Sport and Physical Education, former rector and ministerial delegate to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and author of some 70 works on the history of sport.

SON ROLE
The members of the Scientific Council issue recommendations based on documentation and their own knowledge and experience. This requirement is reflected both in the drafting phase of the application file and in the deployment, development, and evaluation of the project once it has been launched.
The Council then tackles two main tasks:
- Manage the geographical and thematic development of the project
- Define the associated research programs, both in their scientific dimensions and in their educational perspectives
The creation of a scientific council responds to the need for a cultural itinerary not to be based solely on economic interests, but also on strong, lasting interactions with the world of research.
