ELISABETH STADIUM

FEMINA SPORT

Fémina Sport, created in 1912, is one of the first French multi-sport clubs dedicated to women.

It played a fundamental role in the history of women's sport in France, providing a framework where women could practice different disciplines such as gymnastics, basketball, athletics, football, rugby and hockey.

Alice Milliat became its president in 1915, and it was through her involvement in Fémina Sport that she developed her determination to demand equal rights in international sporting competitions.
